BSDA took part in the Annual Meeting of Accredited EVS Organizations

Center for Development of Human Resources, Erasmus + National Agency in Bulgaria, organized an "Annual Meeting of Accredited Organizations on Volunteer Projects", which took place in Sofia on 12th of December 2018.

The specific objectives of the meeting were:
• Volunteer projects as a process;
• Working groups on topics selected by the participants (case studies of the participants);
• Latest news on volunteering projects and the European Solidarity Corps;
• Good Practices of 2018 - Optimism by 2019.

"Bulgarian sports development association" is an accredited European Solidarity Corps organization as host, sending and coordinating organization for the duration of the Erasmus + program. Participation in the meeting from BSDA took Ivaylo Zdravkov – a Board Member of the organization, who presented the "Good governance in sport" project, as well as the activities carried out by the BSDA under the program - "YouthUP, SportUP" project (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovakia and Portugal) for a period of 59 days between August 11 and October 8, 2018. The volunteers had the opportunity to gain experience in organizing sports events, running sports projects and held several youth workshops aimed at popularization of volunteering activities and started the "plogging" tendency in our country, which continues to be realized after the project.
